Dojo is a UK fintech company providing card payment technology to over 150,000 small and medium businesses across the country. Dojo sells directly to SME owners through a network of self-employed sales agents — independent representatives who sign businesses onto the Dojo platform and earn commission on each activation.

The Challenge

Having previously worked with Paymentsense, Citrus Connect was selected to support this rapid scaling, but this time, they needed 10x more support to achieve Dojo’s massive goals in record time. Dojo needed a specialist partner who understood the self-employed, B2B field sales environment. Finding agents who could work autonomously, build their own appointment books and convert consistently in a competitive payments market required a very specific candidate profile — one that generalist recruiters consistently failed to source at the quality and volume Dojo required.
